For liability reasons, our staff will usually assist the doctor for any injections, treatments or procedures. This ensures the comfort and safety of your pet as well as our staff. Some procedures (including nail trims, blood draws and anal gland expressions) are done in the treatment room. Many pets are less distracted when they are in a quiet area, which allows our technicians to complete their treatments in a more timely manner. This also allows us to keep on schedule so that we can see our appointments on time. Our exam rooms are generally reserved for appointments/procedures with the doctor.
